BMW X7 Is The Large SUV That We Didn’t Know We Needed!

While there is certainly a saturation point with consumer “must haves of the moment” …the new BMW full sized X7 SUV – in the works for over a decade — has deftly co-opted the concept “There’s no such thing as too much of a good thing!”

Premiering early this year in the US, the marketplace was already showing a clear preference for more modest SUV and Crossover footprints. But for BMW the US built X7 $73,000 base full-sized SUV is the farthest frontier — short of a pick-up for which a prototype does exist.

Most importantly for BMW devotees – and the force is strong – this opulently leather swathed three-row seating rig is a bigger in every way, from the puffed out plumage of its enhanced front grille, to the 22” wheels, to the nearly 17 ft. stretch from front to back.

The BMW X7 is powered by a choice of a 3.0 L 6-cylinder, 4.4 L V8 pumping 335 and 456 horsepower respectively, with a $100,000 M performance series version boosting the V8 to 523 horses.
