Car Companies Playing The Big Stage
Ready, set, ignition… at the highly charged press previews of the just opened New York International Auto Show the car companies are playing the big stage presenting new products and future concepts to a global media market!
Enthused by a strong comeback from a winter sales downturn, carmakers at the show are celebrating tradition and offering dynamic innovations.
A 50th anniversary Mustang was used to re-enact an original 1964 publicity stunt as the all new 2015 edition of the iconic car was assembled on the 86th floor observation deck of the Empire State Building. The view from up there could be a metaphor for Ford’s stated aim of making the newest Mustang a hit in Europe, China and other emerging markets.
Mazda used the spotlight to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the MX-5 Miata while riding on the enormous current success of the newest Mazda 3 and Mazda 6 series.
Nissan bolstering its expanding market share, took the stage with a striking new update to the mid-sized Crossover Murano, the final piece of a full-line revision that has propelled the company ahead of traditional rival Honda.
