Latest 2019 Kia Forte Steps Up Game on Traditional Turf
The last time Kia was under-estimated as a lower tier auto industry player, it emerged seemingly overnight along with its South Korean cousin Hyundai to become the 5th largest car company in the world.
Today with big street cred from its cheeky urban mobility rig the Soul and the fiery Stinger performance sedan … Kia has been running a relentless campaign for US market share.
And yet Kia has not completely forgotten its roots as an economy car-maker. In that regard the latest 2019 Kia Forte has stepped up its game to go head-to-head with serious competitors like the Nissan Sentra, Hyundai Elantra and the Honda Civic.
With noteworthy exterior styling borrowed from the larger Kia sedans, and an interior that is distinctly upscale, with the full complement of standard infotainment features including a touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and dual climate control, the 2019 Kia Forte base pricing from $17,000 to $20,000 for its four trim levels is very attractive.
Powered by a 2.0 liter 4 cylinder pumping 147 horsepower, there is nothing exhilarating about this modest ride … but it does the job of basic transportation in fine form.
